Loughborough Kayak Club was established in the summer of 2006, primarily as a group of ex Loughborough students. Since then the club has begun to grow and we have taken in new members from other walks of life, bringing more diversity to the club. We are currently based at the Loughborough Grammar School pool, and meet on a Thursday evening (details on website) for an hour and a half. The club's current focus seems to be canoe polo by far and away, and we have entered division four midlands under the name "Lufbralumps", in bright turquoise and purple, and are so far doing reasonably well! Aside from polo, we are intending on pursuing some trips away along a more white water route, taking in both rivers and surf. Whatever your primary discipline, and whatever your skill level we would love to hear from any wannabe Lufbralumps! See you on the water??

Last year, the the club gained 'Top Community Club' status and has a membership of between 70 and 100 paddlers of all ages and is very strong in slalom and general coaching, particularly of youth members.
There are about 15-20 regular polo players. In winter they train at St James' pool in the town centre and in summer, at Hatfield Water Park (home of the BUSA and National Club Champs and used for GB training weekends). They usually field a team at the Liverpool, Hull and London summer events.
In recent years, Green Star 'A' & 'B' have competed in National Div's 3&4 and, in collaboration with other local clubs, the club has entered and done well in National Youth Div 1.
Green Star also enters Yorks Region Divs 1,2 & 3 and Yorkshire U16 premier & novice leagues.
A number of it's players have gone on to represent GB at U21 level.
The club runs 'come & try' weekends at Hatfield WP during the summer.

Bristol Canoe Club is for paddlers of all disciplines in the Bristol area. The club consists mostly of adults and at June 2007, we have around 100 members. We are an informal club and not highly 'organised'. In addition to Canoe Polo, the Club is also very active in white water, marathon racing, surfing, and organises continental trips as well as many social events during the year. Our primary Polo team is called the Bristol Pitbulls, and was promoted to Division 3 following the 2006/07 play-offs where we reached the final. The Club also enters a “development” team in the south west league, and organizes friendly games with other local teams. Each Wednesday evening from September until May, we have a Pool session for basic training, followed by polo games where club polo equipment is available too. We welcome all beginners to canoeing and polo, as well as experienced polo players wanting to join a club offering a variety of disciplines and a slightly more relaxed attitude to polo competition!!

Stirling Canoe Club
- Stirling
- Contact: Chris Redmond
- Email: chr_red@hotmail.com
- Website: http://www.stirlingcanoeclub.info
The club was formed in 1990 by a small group of paddlers from the Stirling area. They enjoyed the sport and were interested in improving their own skills and introducing others to their love of canoeing.
Members are interested in most aspects of the sport including: white water kayaking, sea touring, surfing, open Canadian canoeing (both touring and white water), flat-water touring, marathon racing, and canoe polo. The emphasis at present is on river running, sheltered flat water, pool training evenings and (not very serious) competition canoe polo. The club does its best to encourage youngsters to develop and train up new potential coaches.
